Amazon IP complaints
Are products sold on Amazon using your brand name? Are companies using your photos or your design without your permission?
If you suspect infringement of your intellectual property, as a trademark owner you can file a complaint with Amazon.
This can be done through the Amazon Brand Registry, but it is not mandatory. You can also simply file a complaint via Amazon’s online form.
Amazon will evaluate the complaint and take action, such as removing the offending listing or suspending the seller. This way, you can quickly stop the infringement.
This handling of complaints by Amazon happens automatically. This speeds up processing, but also ensures that you need to know how to draft the complaint properly for proper processing. If not, you will receive an error message and the infringement will simply continue.
We offer the following services to companies whose intellectual rights are infringed on Amazon:
- Filing Amazon complaints
- Withdrawing Amazon complaints
Each case is different, but as a rough estimate, you should expect a cost of around EUR 100.00 excluding VAT per complaint. Multiple ASINs infringing the same right can be included in one complaint.
In addition, we can also assist companies when faced with an incoming complaint (justified or not) from another seller or rights holder. We defend your rights against the other party and Amazon.
